Day 2 was a sore start after the exertions of cardio on Day 1. Also a daunting day. Weigh in day; so what’s the tale of the tape?
- Weight: 99.7kg (quietly surprised I hadn’t got the ton up)
- Height: 175.6cm (I’d always guessed this at 176cm as hadn’t ever really known my metric measurement – quite a good guess!)
- BMI: well, this was always going to be the worrier … 32.3 – good grief Charlie Brown
- Exercise: weights day; 9 different stations, 4 exercises at each; to say that the shoulders took a beating would be … well, correct. Flies, squats, lunges, push ups, weighted step-ups … it’s all happening
- Eats: four berry homemade smoothie with apple juice and yogurt – yummy; couple of bits of toast and vegemite – love it; that’s brekkie. Lunch was a standard salad and tuna; dinner: more invention in the kitchen with a lime & smoked paprika chicken salad with flat bread – surprisingly good. Maybe a cafe is where my best skills lie.
