Hell’s teeth. The knee remains steadfastly locked. I have binged t.v. and in fairness a little comfort food – this is not good progress from the challenge point of view, and is more than a little frustrating from a personal vantage given the debilitating nature of not being able to freely walk around – something I have experience of, given my various surgeries (notably the high tibial osteotomy … go google that one if you want a scare!). I am a stubborn man. A rhino would give up a staring contest against me, I suspect, and I maintain a rest, ice, elevate approach until Friday arvo and it all becomes apparent that I need some professional assistance and that came in the form of Claudia and Jordan at City Physio (highly recommend: https://www.cityphysio.net.au/). After much painful prodding and manipulation by Claudia on Friday afternoon, the leg was moderately operational. I was given some exercises and told that anti-inflammatories were my friend. As a cause for celebration, I dropped into the pub for a swifty on the way home… woops.
- Exercise: basically nil
- Eats: much cheating I am afraid to report; pizza for din dins probably the pick of the bad bunch
