Sort of back on track. The knee now loosened up, a further physio visit booked. Off to the city I go, and since the knee was feeling ok; I walked in and out over the Harbour Bridge, which, along with other Baby V based activities including a park visit, helped me clock up +16k steps. This is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick as far as the challenge goes.

Baby V storming Milson’s Park.

Much manipulation of the knee at physio; Jordan knows a thing or two about how to maximise pain with minimal effort – a well leant on elbow into the ITB in my thigh no doubt helping release the knee further, but OMG it is a fairly sore session.

  • Exercise: a fabulous in and out walk to the city by way of the Harbour Bridge; never gets old crossing this magnificent structure
  • Eats: a crispy bacon sandwich in support of my once regular cafe (http://www.sugarbeancafe.com.au/ on Hunter Street – so friendly in there) for brekkie, tuna salad for lunch and a delicious chicken curry augmented with many capsicums and tomatoes that were getting too soft for salading (the sauce was a cheat, a first look at the tikka masala by these guys: https://www.goancuisine.com.au/ bought at Woollies; amazing)
  • Cheats: the crispy bacon sandwich … a real Achilles heel for me..
